Q. Why this company? What's unique about the product?
A. Our Gourmet Candle Business offers a very different approach to a home based business. There are three very distinct ways to earn a very lucrative income - retail, fundraisers and residual (building a downline). You develop your business in a way that fits YOUR style. No company mandates or quotas.
With our training and my coaching you will learn how to combine all three for maximum profits.
The product line is unique and growing. We currently offer Clean-Burning Gourmet Candles in jars and votives, as well as Gourmet Soy-Botanical Bath and Body Bars and hand wash. Soy based skin care and aromatherapy pillar candles are in the works.
This is a product and a business that appeals to men and women, young and old - virtually everyone!
Q. What if I am in another program? Should I quit and join you?
A. That really depends on your situation. If you are in a program that isn't taking off the way you'd expected, then we can talk about joining my business to see if it's a fit for you. I have found that this is a business that compliments other programs.
Q. How much will it cost me to get started?

Second, order 100 - 200 brochures, postcards and door hangers. These are your sales aids, it's a tax write off and you will use these to promote your business. Your Cost - $48 - $144. Third, get aquainted with your Company website by exploring the many links. Remember, this site is included in your distributorship. Fourth, consider your options for building your business online, too. Details below.
Q. How much money can I make?
A. That depends on you entirely. My first month I made enough to cover my start up expenses and a little bit for Christmas. How? I had three open houses -- that is all. I also did a lot of "planting of the seed" during my first month. Those seeds have proven to be very fruitful.
The important thing is what you earn will be based on your own efforts. We will customize a business plan that works for you and your interests, strengths and goals. You can view what others are making in this business at WHAT PEOPLE ARE MAKING.
Q. How soon will I make money?
A. Again, that depends on you. Many people make money their very first day by just calling a few friends and letting them simply smell the candles.
This is where your sampler pack is SO important. If you are coachable, we will work together to help you retail, set up a few fundraisers and begin to sponsor others your very first month.
The question really is "How much do you want to make your first month?"
Q. How do I get started?
A. First, be sure you are committed to wanting more in your life and working with a team committed to getting more!
Then, complete the SIGNUP FORM HERE. If I am enrolling you, your enroller will be Gail Wahl and my ID is 6242. Do not put anything in the placement box.
Make sure you order the Candle of the Month AND if you want to start making money right away, at least one sampler case. Remember, the company will pick your first 12 scents. If it is important for you to pick your own scents, then sign up for the COTM, and then the next day call into the company and order your first case. Don't forget about brochures, postcards and door hangers.
Now, the real fun begins. I will get you started with "Your Roadmap to Success", our team phase 1 training packet and our partnership will be launched.
Q. How do I build my business?
A. We have a system that will work for anyone - the part timer, full timer, those who love to recruit others and those who don't.
The key to building your business is to find what fits your style and personality, put your nose to the grindstone and move forward. Becoming informed and understanding what the potential is will also help guide you toward your destination.
When I began my journey I realized that building a residual income was what I wanted most. I saw it as a way of securing my "PLAN B". But, to get there I would need to do retailing and fundraising to bring in some immediate income. For the first two years I retailed along side of building a growing team. Now, I do very little retailing and spend most of my time building, training and strengthening my large team of busines partners. This, is what has fit MY STYLE.
I have training on all aspects of this business.
Retailing can be done through - friends, family, open houses, home parties, retail stores, craft shows and boutiques, county fairs and street fairs, business expos, while out and about, etc.
Fundraisers - sports teams, school PTA's/PTO's, church groups, youth groups, dance studios, non profit organizations, school bands, boy/girl scouts, etc.
Sponsoring Others - I will teach you how to sponsor people that come to you and are ready to start a business.
Q. How can I find leads?
A. People who will be interested in your business are everywhere. I prefer to work only with people who are interested and come to me.
I believe that a big reason that many people are not successful in Network Marketing is because they aren't talking to the right people.
There are lots of leads programs out there. Our team, however, works with leads that are candle specific. These leads bring us people who are specifically interested in working candle business. You may be one of those.
I also work with leads and people that find me online. If you are interested, I will teach you a system for developing a presence online with a personal website, much like this one.
That's after we get your Phase 1 business started and profitable!
Q. Will you teach me how to build my business online?
A. YES! That's my passion, and what I know is that for you to be successful online you must complete phase 1 first and our other aspects of building the business. This is to ensure your success.
Successfully building a business online requires a personal website, which is available to you through the team or you can create your own like I did. Let's talk about the options.
Q. Can I sell candles online? Do they drop ship?
A. YES!! The company has provided for us an Online Shopping site that is part of the Company Website you receive when you join the COTM. You direct the people to your site and the company does the order, packing and shipping. The only part you play is getting them to the site and collecting your profit check. How easy is that?
Q. What if I only have 5 - 10 hours a week to work my business?
A. It's not quantity of time that matters, it's quality of time.
Reading email, reading books and studying the website can seem like business time, but it won't produce one red cent for you.
So, as long as you are willing to make that 5-10 hours productive time, you can have a successful business.
Q. I don't want to talk to people I know, can I still be successful with this business?
A. Yes, you can. Although I encourage you to at least NOTIFY (we have training on how to do this) your friends, family and others about your new business and let them smell the candles. You do not have to tell them about the business side, or even ask them to buy anything. Simply tell them what you are doing and ask if they have any ideas.
Personally, I share the products with my friends and family, but only talk to them about the business if they come to me and ask.
Q. I have been in Network Marketing before and have not had success. Why will this program work for me?
A. I can't promise you that it will work for you, but I do know about the commitment I will make to you.
First, what reasons do you believe were the cause of your previous lack of success? What will you do differently? How committed are you to achieving what you say you want? Are you coachable? Are you willing to work closely with me and follow a system for success?
If you get clear on what you do want, let go of the past, and focus forward, your past will not dictate your future.
Q. I have small children and/or homeschool my children. Can I still build a business?
My sons were 8 and 13 when I began this business. They have helped me at many Farmers Markets, shows, etc. This has become a "family" business.

Allow your children to empower you in your business, not as an excuse not to build a business. We will teach you how to get them involved in your business if you and they would like to.
